The camps are for students in Years 1 to Years 8 currently with students then separated into age-appropriate groups.

The camp officially begins at 09:00, but students can be dropped off from 8:30. Pick-up is then between 14:45-15:00 each day. Please see example timetable on the website and keep an eye on your emails (junk folder) and WhatsApp for further updates.

We work with the caterer from the school to provide x2 healthy and nutritious meals each day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon (lunch). Students are encouraged to drink lots of water and juice is also supplied with each meal along with regular breaks. Please see the example menu on the website. Any allergy or dietary requirements are requested at the time of sign-up and we then work with the catering team to ensure these are adhered to.

Prior to the course commencing Arrowhead Skills will collect all necessary information from parents / guardians that will allow for a safe and enjoyable camp for all.

If the school has a pool, we will use it during the camp when available. If your child cannot swim, they can still participate in the activity from the pool side or be supported whilst in the pool by our trained staff. We also have a lifeguard on duty at all times, separate to the instructors who will be in the pool and on the pool side.

We work to a class size of 15-20 with 2 adult instructors per class with additional staff members on site to help with the logistics of the camp allowing the instructors to focus on the activities and students.

If a child attends multiple weeks, the activities they do will be different each time but we will always maintain our 4 core pathways as a foundational structure.

Arrowhead Skills will provide the materials, x2 meals and a camp goody bag including a sports t-shirt.

We have a nurse on every camp as well as robust processes in place for any medical emergency, including when you sign up your child you provide us with all necessary medical / dietary information before camp starts.

Each child should bring a hat, suncream, water bottle, swimming costume, towel and a form of ID (when requested.) Please do not bring any unnecessary valuables such as iPads or other technology as students will not need them on camp.

We do not provide the specific programme in advance of the camp, we tailor each camp to the number of students, the age of those students and how many returners we have. You can see an example timetable on our website for the how the day is structured and example activities based on our 4 pathways of Move, Create, Build and Perform.

Yes that is possible but will be directed by the policy at each school, so please check each schools sign up form or contact us to find out more. There is a small additional charge for students to attend a camp at a school they do not attend in term-time.

All camps are held in English and a proficient level of English language is required for all attendees. We will always strive to have multi-lingual staff on hand where possible to support the different nationalities we have attending our camps.

For those that have already paid to join a camp, we do not offer refunds 2 weeks prior to the camp starting or once it has started. What we will do is defer the place so it can be used on one of our next camps that you are able to join.

We run early bird specials which will be communicated directly to you by us, the school or will be on the sign up form. We also offer group discounts, so if your child comes with 2 other children you will each receive a discount.

We have a WhatsApp number and email which is monitored by the camp director for each camp.

Our instructors come from a range of backgrounds and nationalities. We only work with instructors who are experts in their areas and have a track record of delivering exceptional educational experiences at camps, classes, with sports teams or in other related fields. We pride ourselves on building a rapport quickly with the students and ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable experience with us.
