For our partner schools, Arrowhead Skills offers a range of different and fun Co-Curricular Activities
Whilst all the programmes are fun and interactive, they all contain serious learning outcomes. A selection of some we offer are listed below, but please let us know if there are additional gaps or activities you need support with or want to provide.

STAGECRAFT UNLEASHED
Where acting skills meet improvisation
Objectives include confidence building, improve problem solving skills and develop creativity and storytelling abilities.
Types of activities include creating characters and building scenes through characterisation, movement and vocal work through group and solo scenes.
Outcomes include individual and group work benefits such as overcoming anxiety when performing or speaking in public, development of core acting skills such as script analysis and through exploring different characters, develop more emotional awareness in themselves and others.

MUSICAL THEATRE
Objectives include providing a platform for students to express their creativity, collaborate with others and vocal skill development.
Types of activities include students learning popular songs and dances from their favourite musicals, learning different vocal techniques to improve their singing skills and they will work towards an end of year performance in the school.
Outcomes include developing students stage presence, the ability to command attention, build friendships and communication skills.

CIRCUS SKILLS
Objectives include development of hand-eye co-ordination, improved gross and fine motor control and building resilience.
Types of activities include basic circus skills such as spinning plates, diablo, juggling, twirling ribbon wand and walking on peg stilts. The students will also learn the basics of balloon modelling.
Outcomes include improved fine and gross motor skills and the ability to create more complex balloon models and performance skills.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAMMES
We can offer support for English language enrichment programmes. This could be as part of your international student programme who are in intensive English programmes prior to entering the mainstream classroom. We also offer informal English language programmes for parents of students wishing to improve their ability to converse in English with their children outside of school time.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT RECRUITMENT SERVICES - CHINA
We work with some of the largest outbound Chinese travel agents who are deeply embedded in the education market. Working to your brief, we can support the recruitment of Chinese students and support the English language requirements of those prospective students prior to them arriving with you.

PERFORMING ARTS & PRODUCTION ACADEMY
Our signature performing arts academy works in harmony with your school’s own production.
The objective is to boost participation in the performing arts and production specialties and would be conducted outside of school time, for example on a Saturday morning at the school.

EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS PROGRAMME
Preparing older students for the world of work by empowering them with the opportunity to put their entreneurship skills to the test by working together to develop innovative solutions to address social and economic issues, whilst learning key employability skills such as sales, project management & digital marketing through our own instructors and private sector partnerships.
This programme also works on developing the key human skills required to become an effective global citizen such as teamworking, resilience, confidence, empathy, problem solving and encouraging a growth mindset.

CHARACTER EDUCATION
Building character, self- worth and confidence in young people for those who don’t just learn in the classroom.
This programme is for gifted students who find classroom based learning a challenge and may embrace a different way of learning to some of the traditional methods. It will provide an outlet for those children to express themselves in a different way providing them with the confidence and tools to approach the tasks and activities they may have struggled with in the past.
