About Us
Arrowhead Skills believes in developing the skills that are vital in a world where technology continues to evolve and disrupt the world. We recognise that being technologically literate is essential, but the global citizens of the future will need to be creative, empathetic and lateral thinkers, skills that cannot easily be replicated by technology. We believe in future proofing the children of today for tomorrow’s world.
Our Values and Guiding Statements
Fun is Fundamental - “We create positive and enjoyable environments and experiences”
We believe in the importance of finding enjoyment and fulfilment in our everyday experiences. Our camps and programmes have “fun” at the heart of them. There is a direct correlation between ‘fun & games’ and the ability of children to learn; facilitating positive emotional connections to their learning. Whilst having fun, children will feel empowered to thrive, succeed and flourish to their full potential.
Embrace Challenge - “We seek out and embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, innovation and success”
We encourage a mindset of facing challenges and being positively disruptive as pathways to learn, evolve and achieve excellence. Our camps and programmes are designed to engage and challenge children in a way that encourages creative and innovative problem solving, both in groups or individually. Failure is seen positively as an opportunity to grow, develop and learn whilst teaching resilience in the face of uncertainty, difficulty or adversity.
Drive Impactful Change - “We continuously strive to make a meaningful and positive impact”
We are dedicated to creating significant change and positive outcomes within ourselves, the organisations and the individuals we interact with. We take our mission to help support the positive development of the global leaders and citizens of the future seriously. Our camps and programmes encourage an ethos of caring for others and caring for ourselves. Through teamwork and positive reinforcement the creative, empathetic and leadership qualities of the students emerge while also improving their ability to solve problems innovatively and creatively through lateral thinking and good communication skills; learning new and important lifelong interpersonal skills.
Local View, Global Outlook - “We embrace and seek to understand the communities we work with whilst maintaining a global perspective that values diversity, inclusivity and collaboration”
We are sensitive to the values and needs of the local communities in which we operate while remaining committed to a global view that creates dynamic and inclusive experiences for all, broadening horizons and appreciating the learning from working with differing perspectives.
